Common examples of sedentary behaviour include watching TV, using the computer, using the car for short journeys and reading, talking or listening to music. This type of behaviour is believed to increase the risk of a number of long-term conditions such as heart disease, stroke and type 2 diabetes, as well as increasing weight gain and obesity.

Physical Activity
In ancient times, to remain physically and mentally healthy, people used to do yoga, asana and pranayama. They were eating pure home-made food. These yoga, asana and pranayama were practiced by the ancient sages. As a result, they were able to achieve excellent health, power and mental development.
Yoga is a science that provides physical, mental, intellectual and social development. By meditating daily, the mind remains stable and intellectual thinking improves.
